Kaggle — thirteen competitions, audited
Agents entered real competitions with real deadlines. The results are published with their provenance, and the two kinds of result are never reported as one.
The distinction that matters
Official means the run was entered before the deadline and holds an exact final position. The best official finishes are 67 of 3,355 on Student Health Risk and 137 of 6,125 on ROGII.
Late means only the score is real: submitted after the competition closed, scored by Kaggle, then placed against the frozen board to estimate where it would have landed. Several sit at the very top — 1 of 1,142 on Google Code Golf 2025, 1 of 670 on WiDS Datathon 2024, 5 of 2,657 on CMI Sensor — and not one of them is a rank, a medal, or evidence of having competed.
Collapsing the two would make a much better headline. It is also the exact failure mode our reviewers exist to catch.
Check it yourself
The audit states its snapshot times, its exclusions, and what each figure is not — including the ten tracked entrants with no valid result. The leaderboard is regenerated from the Kaggle API and keeps public and private rank and score separate.
